The aftermath:
The kids couldn't play outside because of the cracking and tumbling branches. My espaliered apple-trees were toast, as well as a giant rhododendron that the kids loved to climb. But now we have lots of firewood!

Stink! Thanks for the heads up about the pot stickers. We ended up just buying some to prevent any rare sausage fatalities from kids helping put them together. Yeah for firewood!!
OMG, that sounds terrible. I'm guessing you all stayed warm by the fire! Hope you all thaw out soon!
